PTP, otherwise known as “Pit To Pit” is the measurement from one armpit to the other. This measurement is done across the back of a garment while it is flat laying.

The best way to find your PTP measurement: choose a garment you love the fit of and measure armpit to armpit.

Note: If the garment has stretch, your PTP will have a range. The PTP of an item can also be “oversized” and measured “larger” than what you are used to. This often happens with different styles of sleeves such as dolman and drop shoulders.
